not sure why im even reviewing this place, as theyre the same across the country every time you go... but i guess that's the point, no? anyways, CPK doesnt do it for me. yea, the interior is nice but that's really all it has going for it. the lettuce wraps are meh, with the tiny pieces of chopped up shrimp and minced chicken just being underwhelming. the blackened salmon was dry and just not well seasoned and the wok grilled veggies were nothing special (though they were prob the highlight of the meal). I guess I wouldnt be opposed to going back but really, whatever. not sure why people get in a tizzy over CPK... the pizza isnt that good.

pizzas are excellent but overpriced. appetizers are great esp: lettuce wraps. servers are inattentive and not very good. seated right away, but ignored for 10 minutes to follow. need a strong floor manager at this location.

I love the pizza here since it's something different and the atmosphere is fun. It's not that greasy cheese subshop pizza that so many of us are used to. There are so many options to pick from too. I always get the Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza and I absolutely love it. One of my friends orders the Grilled Vegetable Salad with Light Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing and said it's the best salad she's ever had. The Foccacias, Herb Onion and Garlic Cheese are delicious. The Sonora Egg Rolls are very yummy too. My mom ordered a pizza here once and was quite disappointed. I warned her. She was complaining that she paid over 11 bucks for a small personal sized pizza when you can go to Giorgio's and get a huge pizza for $5 bucks on the weekend. True...but it's just a different kind of pizza.

My family went there last Saturday night at about 8:30 p.m. I ordered the Jambalaya with a glass of wine. My wife ordered a chicken entree with pasta, and the kids ordered pizza from the kids menu. Maybe it was the time we arrived, but the wine took a while and when I reached for the glass I felt rough places on it. Looking closer, it was dirty. I found that the rough spots were also on the inside?! I'm not the type to complain or send things back, but I decided I would tell the waiter. He brought me another glass, and there again was places inside the glass. I think they just wiped it down and brought it back. Pretty bad really. I was willing to ignore the wine sitting there - because sending it back a second time ruins our time and I thought I would have to go through the whole manager discussion, apology, etc. So I ignored it. The food came and looked great! My wife liked her meal but said it wasn't great. Kids pizza was doughy - her words. My Jamabalya was honestly not too good, bland and lacked flavor. I might be spoiled having been to Nawlin's and tasted true cajun! I really love Jambalaya but this was not good enough to order again. My wife had a really great Mojito, we both enjoyed it, and the atmosphere there is also upbeat and fun! But my point is that - it's a restaurant and I'm there to eat. I am not picky, my wife says I'll eat anything, but this restaurant is too nice and the Name and prices deserve better than serving dirty glasses and food of this quality. We won't be going back. The place is nice but for 60 dollars I left irritated.

Recently I had a one day business trip and needed food fast and there is was right before me a CPK. It must have been calling out my name because I wasn't looking for it. I knew they had gluten free pizza and pulled in. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes it is a chain, I only do chains if there isn't anything else, but the toppings were fresh. If compared to some of my favorites I would give it 3 stars. Also having gluten free pizza gets an extra star. The service was fast, friendly and just a good experience.

(8/21/2015) We def picked the wrong night to be at Hunt Valley Towne Centre. A Friday night with an outdoor concert made parking a horrific nightmare. We really just needed some dog food at the PetValu and some dinner. Settled on CPK, wait for a table was estimated to be 5-15 mins. (was accurate). Started with Avocado Club Egg Rolls, was three golden brown egg rolls stuffed with chicken, avocado, bacon, Monterey Jack, tomatoes. These were the best thing we had of the night. Can't really mess it up, was creamy, salty, crunchy, deep-fried. Herb Ranch sauce was garlicky, complemented well. We got a full-sized seasonal salad, the California Fields Salad. It was rather large, but was pretty run down, looked like it had seen some time waiting on the line (like a few days). Greens were wilted, watermelon and strawberries were somewhat slimy, and they attempted to cover it up with an overabundance of dressing. The Thai Crunch Salad was sufficiently chock full of stuff, but chopped, and wilted pretty fast under a heavy coat of sweet tart dressing (it's spicier than you'd expect from a place like this). The Hawaiian Pizza was mediocre at best. Crust was puffy and chewy on edges, rather bland (like Wonderbread), razor thin in the middle, toppings seemed cold and underdone. Atmosphere was somewhat lacking. Everything was lit to a bright sunny yellow, overhead speakers played 90s fun pop very loudly. There was a ridiculous number of small children in the place, the ones right behind us enjoyed banging all their silverware on their plates. Our table was cleared, but visibly dirty and sticky (I wiped it down myself with a wet nap). They were efficient, almost down right pushy. Halfway through our meal (they just set the entrees down), we were asked if we wanted dessert. "No? OK, here's the check then." In my memory's eye, the place was way better, but this was almost 3 decades ago when Beverly Hills was hot, the Breakfast Club was in theaters, Nintendo was the shit, and Wolfgang Puck was the man.

3.5 stars Haven't been to a CPK in a good minute. Felt the need to sit outside, have some pizza and drank. Rough, long weekend folks.... Anywho, this places is located in a shopping center. Pretty dead center. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's a chain, so you kind of get what you get. On this date, we sat outside, I was a bit turned off at the cleanliness of the place, there was trash on the ground underneath our table, in addition to an old fork. I let our hostess know, she said that she would get it...but it sat there during the duration of our meal. I tried the mango mojito, pretty good, but it totally missed out on the fresh sugar cane, and I swear it just wasn't to much there to begin with bummerization. The pizza that I got was the mushroom pepperoni sausage. I thought it was good, not the greatest, but the toppings were fresh, and the basil added a nice touch. Service was a-ok, our server at times appeared to be rather busy, but I think she handled herself pretty well.

Food quality has definitely deteriorated. We ordered a couple of things that we used to like and it was not too great. The place was also being renovated and the floors were very tacky as a result. The spacing between the table and the booth seats is insanely close. Not great for something that claims to be a premium chain. Definitely disappointed.

Tonight was probably my third visit to the Hunt Valley location. These restaurants are kind of hard to locate around here. I believe Annapolis has one. Anyway..I find it almost odd that every time I come here there is no one in the dining area. Where are the people? I always get the Thai Chicken Pizza. I think they do it really well with chicken, peanuts, cilantro, green onion, and cheese. It pretty much always taste the same. I personally like it. Their drinks are pretty bad here. I have had a couple things, and they seem watered down or just poorly made. Not sure what's up with that, but you may want to stick to sodas verses alcohol. Service is alright I guess. Nothing special.

Everyone who knows me knows I I love me some CPK! Here is why: 1. Friendly staff 2. Good food all the time have never had a bad experience 3. Good atmosphere ! 4. Great price plus you can sign up for the dough points 5. Nice drinks 6. Always updating their menu Notes: I would like to see this CPK get an indoor remodel to make it more chic looking like they did the outside section!

I always order curbside to go when I come here. Ive only dined in one time before at the bar watching the chefs make fresh pizza in their brick oven. Ive signed up for their loyalty rewards and every $100 I get something free/reduced in price. Received a free app just by signer signing up. My food was complete and ready by the time I arrived 15min later. The waitress came out (in the rain) and presented me with my meal. She prepared napkins and utensils. Plus as a bonus I had lil mini bread in a bag with a side of olive oil to dip the bread. I ordered chicken and shrimp pesto pasta(My favorite). I normally order the strawberry lemonade to go but this time I forgot. You can pay online or when u get there. Anything I've ever tried on the menu has been yummy. Also try the white pizza on the menu. I ate my lunch while working that day and had food coma shortly after.

Visited this evening with my husband and parents, overall good experience. Can't say "great" for one main reason, and it was probably because of where we were seated. We were greeted and seated promptly, but right behind the host podium... Meaning every single time a server walked by, they griped to the hostess about their tables (or lack thereof) and current customers ("they're sure not going to tip well")... Kind of amusing, but having worked in the restaurant industry for years... Super unprofessional. About halfway through our dinner the manager made himself very present in the front of the house and the griping seemed to quiet down. Our server was great, she was very attentive and enthusiastic- checking in with us when necessary. Ordered a few appetizers (avocado club egg rolls ALWAYS!), and the majority of our table had pizzas. Since the restaurant wasn't overly busy, everything came out relatively quick and hot. Never disappointed in the food, but still semi surprised about servers openly (and loudly) complaining within earshot of patrons.

This CPK was excellent!!! Well managed. Very quick service on a packed Saturday night. Our waitress was great. I had the Sicilian Thin Crust Pizza and it was awesome. My Wife had a Gluten Free, California Club, hand tossed pizza; and it was excellent. She said it was the best Gluten Free pizza she'd had. The bartender is excellent. Drinks were great. My wife had a red Sangria and loved it. They had Dogfish Head 60 minute on tap.

I love the Quinoa Arugula Salad! The portion is perfect and you can then share a pizza with your fav friend. We usually get the humus and warm pita bread ~ which is always delicious. Ask for an add'l order of the wheat pita bread ~ you won't be disappointed! Sign up for the CPK app and receive rewards!!

I've been here two times now and both times I've had a good experience. Both visits I've ordered the BBQ chicken pizza with no onions and added bacon. The sauce is tangy and the dough was soft but cooked just right...no mushy uncooked crusts here. While you wait for your order they give you complementary bread with a oil dipping sauce. The wait time for a table was quick, less then 5 minutes. and the server came right over after being seated to take drink orders. Since CPK in the Hunt Valley town center there is tons of parking near by in a well-lit lot. They do have outdoor seating but it was too cold to be sitting outside.

It appears that over time America moves on to a new style or group of chain restaurants and I think CPK is where we currently are. Their menu can be described as comfort food. There are healthier options on the menu though. However, you should know going into this place that it's probably going to be carb heavy. The food was pretty tasty. My group of 6 shared everything - eggrolls, chips/guac, lettuce wraps, Hawaiian BBQ Pizza, Kale/Quinoa Salad. Everything was really pretty tasty. I don't like how the plates and napkin-wrapped utensils are so informal. I felt like I was eating at a really cheap fast food restaurant.

I bought shrimp scampi, it was very good but not worth the money (around $20.00)....Oh meal comes with bread and Italian oil. My friend's pizza' crust was under cooked. Service was better than average.

Look ! I absolutely love CPK and I go there twice a week. Hunt Valley location is the best and my previous review was a 5 star. But, I am changing my review today because, -Yesterday,me and my husband went there at 9:30 pm. We know the closing hours are 10:00 pm on weekdays but 9:30 was the best I could do -We ordered for the food and asked if could get some bread in mean while (Believe it or not 40% of my love for CPK comes from their bread and olive oil with spices ! Yumm!!!) The waiter said they were all out of bread. Sob sob ! -I asked for a cheese pizza with basil and sorreno peppers ( my usual) and she said they don't carry sorreno peppers. I know for a fact that they do because I eat there for every 3 days !!!!! I told her the same and ordered it anyway. She came after a while and said they are out of sorreno peppers but they have habanero peppers which are the spiciest peppers they have. I hate them but I had no choice. I just can't eat a pizza without peppers and it was 9:45 already. I ordered it, had 3 slices and boxed the rest of it. - Now comes the best part ! BELGIAN CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE :D other biggest reason why I come here! I ordered the souffle and guess what??? THEY ARE ALL OUT OF ICE CREAM!!!!!!! Why can't you shut the fu*kin doors at 9:30 if you can't serve anything right after 9:30? One more time this happens, CPK loses it's most loyal customer.. And teach your waitress what you carry and what you don't for god's sake !!!

Another nice chain. A regular stop in when in a rush in the area. The pizza is definitely California-style cool. A definite recommendation for the weary traveler. They will fill you up. Even Momma K could pick it apart - that's saying something.

We went on a Monday night and received terrible service, we sat by the window where a small black bug crawled on my arm, apron further inspection there were many small black bugs on the window sill. We confronted the manager and he simply shrugged it off.

Great wait staff...efficient, helpful and pleasant. I LOVE their spaghetti....the noodles are cooked just right and the sauce is fantastic. I had a fantastic red sangria that was really refreshing after sitting outside at the Hunt Valley town Center concert for a few hours. Then moved on to red velvet cake. Portions are huge though, so consider sharing if you're in a group. If you're in the area and looking for a moderately priced chain restaurant, I'd recommend it!

Great food, reasonably priced and almost always great service. My family eats here on a semi-regular basis and have had really great experience all but maybe one time. The pizza is always hot, the salads are always fresh, and their bolognese sauce is out of this world! Definitely recommend this spot.

Ordered a gluten-free pizza. Came put undercooked and cold. It was absolutely terrible. The cheese was barely melted and the pepperoni and sauce were both cold. Because the dough was undercooked it was chewy and hard to eat. First time eating here and I probably won't come back. Only good part was our waitress, Caren, who was very nice and understanding about how the food was not good.

  • Bill T.

CPK is AOK. Had a big family lunch here and even with a party of seven, everything was prompt, efficient and tasty. Our waitress could not have been sweeter. Drinks were refilled without asking. The pizzas came out quickly and they were very good. I'm a huge fan of the thin crust and my meat lovers was excellent. The place was clean and nicely decorated. I'm docking them a star because I sat at the bar to wait for my family and wanted a beer. The bartender just gave me the list and I ended up getting a mundane Sam Adams. When I was seated at the table, the waitress let us know they had three other specialty beers on tap. The bartender should have told me that.. Otherwise this would be four stars all the way.

Wow..my first time in all my (to date) 91 reviews that I've had such an experience that I had to IMMEDIATELY write a review. I didn't dine here but experienced more than enough awfulness to ensure that I will NEVER visit this location for my dining pleasure. Met my friend here who was finishing up a quick appetizer before we caught a late movie showing at the cinema a few doors down. I wish I would have waited in the theater instead of this poor excuse for a CPK. In my 15 minutes here, it took less than 10 minutes for me to become disgusted about the dining section, floors, and bathrooms AND service. When a restaurant is at only about 15% capacity but has enough staff present to outnumber the tables of patrons, there's no reason why visible debris should be spotted on common area floors nor should the seating section surrounding the brick ovens/wine bar have food and beverage stains appearing as if they hadn't been wiped down for hours. But what the young adult staff did have time to do was joke and stand around as if they had nothing better to do. With that same surplus of vibrant, energetic staff, someone please help me understand why paper towels were all over the women's bathroom counter and also why the random dollar store soap dispenser they had (see picture) was nearly out of soap!!! I LITERALLY had to unscrew the lid, pour water in, and shake up the remaining soap inside in order to get a satisfying amount of liquid for hand cleansing. UNACCEPTABLE! Last and most certainly liked the LEAST was my friend's waiter. Now usually when I witness awful service I do not provide names but BRENDAN?!?! Ohhh, BRENDAN, mymyMY did you earn this shout out little man. His initial greeting to me was "hey hun, can I get you something to drink?" Nooooo, but you can get me my belt and lay your narrow tail across my lap and take this whupping your disrespectful hineyposs deserves! Word to the unwise in a youthfully ignorant disguise, repeatedly referring to someone old enough to be your "15 & Pregnant" show mother as "hun" is NOT a good look. Another service tip, when you are tipped over 50% on a bill that was under $10, attempting to belittle the customer by loudly saying "anyone got change for a *insert exasperated sigh* FIVE?" is a good way to get you talked about...like so. I wouldn't swear off CPK based on this experience but the next time I'm in this area to catch a movie and want to grab a quick meal, I'll be sure to go somewhere else instead of this CPK location and you should too.

  • Holly W.

We stopped here on the way to the airport. I saw "Pizza" and wasn't so interested because I wanted a restaurant, not just a pizza joint. Well, it's a good thing we checked it out...awesome place! I had the roasted vegie salad with chicken...delicious with all my faves in it..eggplant, peppers, avacado. My husband had his usual grilled chicken caeser salad and raved over the freshly shaved parmesian. The service was impeccable and the people are real. Decor has an upscale flair to it. We' be back the next time we travel.

Always a nice place to go for a pizza and a salad. I'd normally give them a higher score but we were in a back corner with a broken table and a surly server. Not typical but not deserving of four stars.

I have eaten here only two times and both times it was very enjoyable but I have certainly had better. The pizza is good, nothing incredible though. The salads are actually really good. I had one with spinach and spring leaves with red onions,Tomato, Cucumber,Blue cheese and candied pecans with some berry dressing. It was a delicious combination of flavors. I also like the Italian cheese bread that comes with fresh tomato and basil. Good for a lunch after walking around and shopping. The staff is very friendly and the service is great!

I have visited quite a few times to meet friends for dinner. Most times its later in the evening, weeknights, so no wait :) Pizzas are a great size for personal (with some take home) and to share. The salads are good as well, they are large! Always encountered good service.

We prefer this location over the one in Annapolis because it has a more sophisticated interior with tables set further apart. The service started out great, with our server outwardly friendly with enthusiasm. She must have found out her grandmother died during our meal because she seemed distracted and curt from the midpoint on. Lots of vegetarian selections. The split-pea soup is one of my wife's favorite dishes. She likes the vegetarian spring rolls as well. I ate the Tostada pizza (which is like Chipotle on a pizza pie) and really enjoyed it -- something about the hot crust, cheese, and beans, topped with cool lettuce and tomatoes. Our kids pasta with alfredo sauce was a hit, certainly a step above the typical Kraft mac & cheese. We always get the focaccia appetizer (this time the garlic one). The bread is very good and we enjoy the side of seasoned tomatoes as well. I pushed myself to try their Brownie dessert and it was great. Good quality ice cream over an excellent brownie.

Absolutely TERRIBLE. Stay away from here. The service was horrible and took at least fifteen minutes just to get 5 glasses of water. One of the glasses was cracked and had to get sent back. Once we got to ordering it took at least another hour just to bring the food out. I ordered the spaghetti and meat sauce and it was very poor. Bland and tasteless. The portion was also the smallest I've ever seen any restaurant serve. The service was extremely lacking and was the worst that my family has had at a restaurant only to be served poorly executed food.

A delicious change from the ordinary east coast pizza joint. They offered unique and traditional pizzas, and also some healthy alternatives. The entire menu looked original and delicious, and they had very good adult beverages. I'll be going back!

Whoa. Don't know what happened yesterday, but everything was way out of control there. We even went at 11:20am - to avoid the rush. It was not busy, but was setting by the restrooms. (oh well) - ordered some mashed pea soup and wedge salad for appetizer, and a pizza for the entree. 35 minutes after ordering we still had nothing to eat. After another 4 minutes, I asked the waitress - please check on our food. Another waitress came out and said "Oh we will get it right now!" All of our food came at once, the soup cold, the wedge salad not cold, and the pizza just barely warm. I am contacting CPK to let them know....

My mom and I wanted to stop somewhere for lunch while shopping in Hunt Valley, so we figured we would try California Pizza Kitchen. The restaurant was pretty busy, but we were seated right away. We had to wait awhile for our server to come over, but fortunately we were able to figure out what we wanted to order by the time she arrived. We ordered the Tuscan hummus with a whole wheat pita, an asparagus and arugula salad, and the wild mushroom pizza. The service wasn't exactly fast, so minus one star for that. We both liked the hummus, but it wasn't the best hummus I've ever had. It was a little runny and could have used a bit more garlic. The pita bread was very tasty and warm though! My mother's salad has asparagus, arugula, pine nuts, red peppers, and Parmesan. She really enjoyed it and it was an amazing deal for $4.95! I liked my pizza as well. They weren't stingy with the mushrooms or scallions, that's for sure! I've had better pizza elsewhere, but I'd absolutely order it again. Our bill was very reasonable. The total came out to $31 for 2 iced teas, the hummus, salad, and pizza. It was definitely a good deal, especially considering we had some leftovers. CPK is okay with me. We would come back!

Hey do you like good food from a pretty decent chain place? Then this is a God sent! In all honesty, the food is good, the service is also good. The last time I was here I even got a good story out of it to tell my friends! (It involved this dumb broad in the women's room who thought I was looking at her butt, when in actuality I was looking at her offensively ugly cowboy boots. It was like a trainwreck on her legs.)

Only ONE time have I ever had reason to complain (we weren't waited on for about half an hour after sitting, until my boyfriend spoke with the hostess. It was a misunderstanding, we were away from the rest of our waitress's section and she didn't know about it), and I've been going here for years. I wish they hadn't gotten rid of every one of my favorite menu items, but that isn't the fault of this specific location. There is still tons of great stuff to choose from. Absolutely get the Avocado Club Egg Rolls as an appetizer. They also have a full bar, and a great list of their specialty drinks to choose from. Ask for Brandon!

I have been here several times, and the only drawback is that it gets crowded! Other than that, the service has always been spot on and the food tasty. The last time I went, my friend was on a paleo-diet of some sort and really custom ordered her cobb salad. The waiter patiently wrote down her order and suggested some good alternatives (including several side dressings).

I absolutely LOVE the BBQ Chicken Pizza! Not to mention all of the other fun choices for pizza, sandwiches, appetizers, pasta, and drinks! The sangria is also too good! Overall, this place is just great for anyone, old or young, there's something for everyone. If you are in the area, try one of their pizzas!

Stopped here on a rainy night with my family for a quick dinner, mainly because we had a gift card. CPK is my favorite chain restaurant but this time it didn't 'wow' me as much as I wanted. Anyways, we started with the avocado egg rolls which I liked a lot. They came out in reasonable time along with my Dad's salad. Our waitress was also very nice and kept our drinks filled. However, when I finished my second water, I noticed a few smudges around the brim of the cup (I was using a straw by the way). I stopped drinking after I saw them. On a different note, I ordered the thin crispy crust margherita pizza, which was just alright, nothing special. The tomato and cheese tasted fine, but the cheese was used sparingly and the pizza was mainly crispy on the outside with the rest of the bread being somewhat tough and chewy. I've had much better thin crust at Bertucci's. During the meal, I noticed that they were serving a strawberry shortcake for a limited time, so I jumped on the opportunity and got it. Once again, it was just alright. It was good, but nothing amazing like I was expecting. The shortcake tasted more like a dinner biscuit rather than a soft cake but the strawberries were fresh and matched well with the whipped cream. The service, atmosphere, and egg rolls earned the 2 stars and unfortunately the rest fell a bit short, but I will definitely come back more in the future.

I don't know how they do it! They claim to be "California Pizza Kitchen", and they claim to use "fresh ingredients" and the pizzas are supposedly "made fresh", and every time they even taste that way... But how do they transport them on that 6 or so hour flight without them getting stale? We may never understand, but I do think that they should share their secret. It's basically like they have some sorta time-freezing device. They could market that shit to old people who don't want to go yet, vain women who can't stand the idea that their skin is aging and men that want to stave off baldness. Think about it, you just friggin pause yourself every night and that is 6-8 hours where you don't age. BRILLIANT STUFF, CALIFORNIA PIZZA KITCHEN! Now share your technology.

The first time I came here with my friends I had really enjoyed their pizza. As we were finishing up our meal, my friend noticed that there was a hair in her pizza, and it was short and blonde and obviously was not any of ours because we all had long, brown hair. We ended up having to speak with the head of the kitchen, who apologized and promised us that all of his staff wore hair nets. So I decided to give this place a second try the other day. I ordered the Chipotle pizza (which is really good by the way!!) and it came out with a cilantro sauce. This time, my same friend was very conscious of her food because she had found a hair during our prior visit. And guess what, she finds a long, curly hair in the sauce that we were using. After that, we lost our appetite. Honestly, I truly believe that this place has really good food. It's not necessarily the quality of the food that I'm complaining about, it's the service and preparation of the food. I would probably go again, maybe for a date, but I still feel very uncomfortable with the fact that I could be consuming someone else's hair.

Such a huge fan! Had a great experience a few weeks back and plan to eat here whenever I am in the hunt value area!

I've eaten here too often to get away without finally composing a review! We love their herb-infused and delicately spiced breads the most. We enjoy these as pizza crust, as sandwich or wrap covering and with the little appetizer Mediterranean/Thai combo rolls! Exquisite pizza on thin regular or whole grain crust for a quick-service restaurant with a number of very healthy topping options, including lean meats and exotic vegetables, all marinated/spiced to consistent perfection. And we've never encountered inferior service - in person, takeaway or at the bar! My only beef with the place, other than the long waits, are the relatively expensive drinks! I've eaten a quick bite at the bar while going 'dry', as a result! Which is a pity, because the variety and drink recipes/garnishes are quite flawless as well!

The food is pretty straight forward. Good quality, but nothing to write home about. Service was very timely. The pizzas didn't look all that amazing, pretty standard really. The pasta dishes looked like they varied in serving sizes and appetizers are pretty small. I'd probably go here again on a typical night out but by no means did I find it a mind blowing experience. Not really worth it for the upscale prices.

The table bread is really bad. Wish they would go back to the large soft table bread they used to have!! Everything else was OK

My second favorite pizza joint in the hunt valley area, sorry but Ledo's still is number one for me. I always get the same pizza, the white pizza and end up peeling off many of the spinach leaves. Very flavorful and very filling. Im not sure if their size pizzas are geared to one person or two. On days that I am really hungry I can polish off one by myself but other days I can only eat two slices. Great reheat meal though they give you a cute little box to take it home in. Days like Fridays and Saturdays are packed with people but Im pretty sure you can do call ahead seating which makes the wait a lot shorter.

Ww were upset because they no longer carry the garlic chicken pizza. Boo. Good thing they still have the BLT -- very little cheese and delicious! Get it with the whole wheat crust for a healthier option! The hummus with pita is a healthy appetizer choice, especially when you get the whole wheat pitas. There are a number of good choices if you are trying to eat healthier than the word "pizza" conjures up in your mind! They get REALLY crowded in the evenings, especially on weekends. You can try to call ahead, which can cut down on your wait time, but note that they don't start your countdown until your entire party has arrived.

I don't get what people see in this place. I love how it comes across as all sunny and healthy and California, but nothing at this place comes close to healthy. just look at the nutrition facts. ok off my soapbox and onto the review. I think it's clear I don't care for the food, this is now reviewing the service. I think their business model is not to go that extra mile.... or inch. No reservations or call ahead for large parties ( over ten), minimal split checks, and ice coffee seems to bewilder them. I just didn't get a welcoming feeling. but other people like the food, so three stars or is.

Tasty pizza. Gets very crowded and can have long waits on weekends. After some family arguments we've switched to carry out. The take out window is so easy to use and I order online prior and just zip in and pickup. This is as close as it's getting to Jetson's style convenience for now.

Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmoshpere, it's packed almsot every night! Good selection of beers. I love the Sicilian Pizza and the Jambalaya, it's great everytime, and honestly the Sicilian is the best pizza I've ever had every time I get it. It never gets old and it's totally unique.

If loving this place makes me a chain whore, well, then a chain whore I will be. I really, really love CPK. The food is consistently good, the prices aren't too expensive for what you're getting, and I'm very rarely, if ever, disappointed after going here. Some good items to try: Mango mojito (seriously one of the best drinks, ever.) Herb onion foccacia with checca Lettuce wraps Avocado club rolls BLT pizza California club pizza Chicken caesar sandwich Chicken tequila fettuccine The wait can be horrible on a Friday or Saturday night, but they do have call ahead seating which usually cuts waiting time down to only 10-20 minutes.

Whatever its CPK, are you seriously looking at a Yelp review for CPK? Fine...since you made the effort.... Try the corn guacamole appetizer, its good for 2 people so order accordingly! It is surprisingly very good. Since its beyond pointless to go to CPK for normal pizza, get the Hawaiian BBQ. Its different in a good way, which is probably why you went to CPK in the first place.

Chain restaurant. Interior not bad. Service is great, with 1 exception; waiter is narcissistic. Pizza? Mediocre. But their pasta? Fantastic. I usually dont eat much Italian and/or American/Italian foods. Ordered the Asparagus/Spinach Spaghetti. Very flavorful. My sister ordered the Tomato Basil Spaghetti and that was very good too. Their pasta is what stood out in my personal experience...

The service was great! Food quality has majorly decreased! The biggest issue was they no longer have the Buffalo Chicken Pizza on the menu. I got a few different items other wise and was just not impressed at all. I was very excited to go but left very sad! I hope they can fix up their food quality because I would love to go back.

Even though it is a chain - it's still a rockin chain! Very good food if you like pizza and salads. Can't speak for anything else. Ohh and they make great drinks too! Very good service but if you're coming during lunch/dinner...be prepared for a wait!

I've seen other people eating pizzas that look delicious but those never seem to end up on my plate. The ones I get are just OK. OTOH, the salads are great. I love the BBQ Chicken salad with avocado. The Avocado Bacon Club Rolls are yummy too.

Great food, reasonably priced and almost always great service. My family eats here on a semi-regular basis and have had really great experience all but maybe one time. The pizza is always hot, the salads are always fresh, and their bolognese sauce is out of this world! Definitely recommend this spot.

  • Marney K.

  • Andrew R.

  • Emma F.

  • Nomie H.

  • Marc H.

not sure why im even reviewing this place, as theyre the same across the country every time you go... but i guess that's the point, no? anyways, CPK doesnt do it for me. yea, the interior is nice but that's really all it has going for it. the lettuce wraps are meh, with the tiny pieces of chopped up shrimp and minced chicken just being underwhelming. the blackened salmon was dry and just not well seasoned and the wok grilled veggies were nothing special (though they were prob the highlight of the meal). I guess I wouldnt be opposed to going back but really, whatever. not sure why people get in a tizzy over CPK... the pizza isnt that good.

Great food, reasonably priced and almost always great service. My family eats here on a semi-regular basis and have had really great experience all but maybe one time. The pizza is always hot, the salads are always fresh, and their bolognese sauce is out of this world! Definitely recommend this spot.

  • Shriram P.

  • Jen W.

Another nice chain. A regular stop in when in a rush in the area. The pizza is definitely California-style cool. A definite recommendation for the weary traveler. They will fill you up. Even Momma K could pick it apart - that's saying something.

  • Robert N.

  • Andi-of L.

Absolute lack of any service. Unprofessional personnel, manager Tim is a rude prick. Food is ok, but service needs a lot of work.

Good quality ice cream over an excellent brownie.

not sure why im even reviewing this place, as theyre the same across the country every time you go... but i guess that's the point, no? anyways, CPK doesnt do it for me. yea, the interior is nice but that's really all it has going for it. the lettuce wraps are meh, with the tiny pieces of chopped up shrimp and minced chicken just being underwhelming. the blackened salmon was dry and just not well seasoned and the wok grilled veggies were nothing special (though they were prob the highlight of the meal). I guess I wouldnt be opposed to going back but really, whatever. not sure why people get in a tizzy over CPK... the pizza isnt that good.
